My name is Treosha Blue and my journey into Entrepreneurship begin in 2008. I knew that I wanted a business but I didn’t what kind it would be or what I wanted to do. The only thing I did know was that I wanted to help people. During this five-year time period I have acquired much knowledge by simply reading every book, article, and blog about business that I could get my hands on. What good is all that knowledge if you are not ready to act on it? I realize that I was scared to fail because in my eyes failure was final. As 2013 begin I was looking for quotes to motivate me and I found one from our 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt:
“It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; Who, at the best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who, at the worst, at least fails while daring greatly, so thathis place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.”
So I asked myself the question, “Am I in the arena?”, the honest answer was, No. This year I will enter the arena. Will you?
